About Yeskay Mango Farms

Where tradition meets excellence in mango cultivation.

One of Maharashtra's largest producers of Alphonso mangoes — committed to quality and sustainability since 1985.

Welcome to YESKAY MANGO FARMS PVT. LTD. — where tradition meets excellence in mango cultivation. As one of Maharashtra's largest producers of Alphonso, we take pride in quality, innovation, and sustainability.

Founded in 1985, we've grown from a small family farm into a leading name in the Alphonso mango industry — leveraging western Maharashtra's ideal climate and red soil, and combining time-honored techniques with modern, sustainable practices.

We're passionate about bringing the best Alphonso mangoes to your table — through direct sales, partnerships, or export. Every fruit is hand-picked, naturally ripened, and traceable to the tree it grew on.

Our Process

From flowering to your kitchen,by hand.

Four steps. Done the slow way. Three generations of Konkani know-how — every mango can be traced back to the exact tree it grew on.

  1. Mango trees in bloom with cream-colored flower panicles in a sunlit orchard row
    01October — FebruarySlow farming

    Step 01

    Flowering & Cultivation

Year-round care across 600+ acres and 12 farms in Ratnagiri & Raigad. Mineral-rich red lateritic soil, drip irrigation, and hand-pruning shape every panicle that becomes a fruit.

    • Organic compost & mulching
    • Drip irrigation, no flooding
    • Hand-pruning by farm team
  2. Hands harvesting a ripe mango from the tree beside a woven basket filled with fruit
02April — Early MayBy hand only

    Step 02

    Handpicked at Peak Maturity

Each mango is harvested at the precise moment of maturity — never with machines, never with nets. Experienced farmers use shoulder-baskets and wooden poles, the way it's been done for a century.

    • Shoulder-basket harvesting
    • No machines, no bruising
    • Sorted on the tree
  3. Ripe mangoes layered in straw inside a rustic wooden crate with mango leaves
    035 — 7 daysNo carbide. Ever.

    Step 03

    Natural Straw Ripening

Cushioned in straw-lined wooden crates and ripened slowly the traditional Konkani way. Never with calcium carbide, ethylene gas, or any chemical agent — which is why the aroma fills the room.

    • Straw-cradle bedding
    • 5–7 day slow ripening
    • Daily hand-inspection
  4. Packed mangoes in straw-lined boxes on an outdoor wooden table with farm gift packaging

    Delivered Farm-Fresh

Picked, packed, and dispatched within 24 hours from the farm. Free delivery across India — Maharashtra in 4-5 days, other states in 8-9 days. The mango that lands on your table is the one we picked off the tree this week.

The No-Carbide Promise

Why ours taste different.

Most Indian mangoes are force-ripened with calcium carbide — a chemical that ripens fruit overnight but kills its flavour, aroma and natural shine. We refuse to use it.

100% No Carbide

A century-old Konkani method.

Calcium carbide ripens fruit overnight but kills aroma, flavour, and natural shine. It's also unhealthy.

Our mangoes ripen in straw-lined crates over 5–7 days, the way they have for a hundred years in the Konkan. The difference is something you'll taste in the first bite.

What we do
  • 5–7 day straw-cradle ripening
  • Organic compost & mulching
  • Drip irrigation, no flooding
  • Each mango sorted on weight machine
What we never do
  • Calcium carbide (banned but common)
  • Ethylene gas chambers
  • Synthetic colour washes
  • Buying from middlemen
Harvest Calendar

My mother-in-law said these taste exactly like the mangoes from her childhood in Ratnagiri. That's the highest compliment in our family!

First time buying online and I was nervous. But when I cut open the first mango and that fragrance filled the room... I understood why people wait all year for this.

Common Questions

FAQ

Yes, delivery is completely free all over India! Maharashtra orders arrive in 4-5 days, and all other states receive their mangoes in 8-9 days. We dispatch within 24 hours of your order and use cold-chain logistics to ensure your mangoes arrive perfectly fresh.

Three things: (1) we own every farm — there's no point in our chain where a middleman could swap fruit; (2) you can visit any of our 12 farms in Ratnagiri or Raigad at any time during the season; (3) artificially ripened Alphonso looks uniformly yellow with no aroma — ours ripen unevenly with a strong floral smell, which is the natural sign.

Alphonso is a once-a-year fruit. Pre-orders open on 1 March; deliveries begin from 20 March through early June, with peak fruit between mid-April and mid-May. Reserve early — we sell out most years by April.

Real Konkan Alphonso is the world's most expensive mango variety to grow. We never use chemicals, never auction-buy from middlemen, and never let an unripe fruit ship. The 5–7 day natural ripening alone costs us 30% more than gas-ripened alternatives. You're paying for actual Alphonso, hand-picked from the GI-tag belt.

Yes — through our sister brand Westmango Agro Export. We currently ship to UAE, Singapore, UK, USA, and Australia. For export inquiries, please use the B2B form.

Absolutely — we encourage it. Our Vilye and Chordhe estates welcome visits during the harvest season (April–May). Drop us a WhatsApp at least a week ahead and we'll arrange a guided tour with chai and fresh-cut mango.
